Ironing board storage cabinet – day 8

The glue has dried on yesterday’s patch job. I used my tiny plane to take down the edges of the plug then used my chisel to smooth down the top. I was having trouble planing the end grain side so I switched to my Japanese saw. It took care of the end of the plug without any problems. After I hit it with a piece of sand paper, you could hardly tell it was there.
