My new Lie-Neilson Block Plane

Today I received my new Lie-Neilson 60 1/2 Low Angle Adjustable Mouth Block Plane. Unfortunately I am very busy today so I just wanted to take a picture or two to post. I clamped up a piece of 3/4″ red oak for a test cut. Straight out of the box, it cut pretty well with the grain, Not so well on the end grain. I still have to sharpen and hone the blade, but that will be tomorrows project.
