Adam’s Mother’s day gifts

Adam was in the shop this week working on a small mother’s day presents for his mother and grandmothers. Since some of them read this blog, I waited till Mother’s day to post it. Adam already had his shopping done, but he wanted to add something he made to his gifts this year. He snagged some poplar from my scrap bin and tried his hand with the band saw. He made three hearts with an integrated base. He spent a fair bit of time filing and sanding them until he was happy with the shape and smoothness. He then applied some paste wax for a quick finish.
